40,000 veterans have been medically discharged from the British Armed Forces over the last 20 years. But they didn’t just lose their jobs, they lost their community and purpose too. Without adequate support, they’ve been hung out to dry.

WHAT IF Help for Heroes built a new army, no longer holding guns, but armed with new skills for civilian life. The toy army reminded the public of the size of H4H’s mission and it showed veterans that they’re not alone.
